Credit to the vendors, as these steers were excellent to handle in the yards. Small percentage of steers were agitated while being weighed but quickly calmed once returned to the mob. These steers have a quiet temperament which could be attributed to being well handled as they are part of a rotational grazing program.

Assessor Comments
Buyers here is a very good quality line of 118 crossbred steers. Grassfed, antibiotic free, HGP free. Steers present in store to forward store condition ranging from 330kgs - 424kgs to average 375kgs. Extremely well handled, with good temperament, they have been rotation grazed through fresh paddocks. Steers were purchased earlier in the year ex Augathella country sired by Moongool Simmental, Gidyea Brangus/Ultra Black & Valera Vale Droughtmaster bulls. Steers have responded extremely well to the good season. They have plenty of softness with the frame, bone & depth to keep on doing. Ideal steers to be taken through to heavier weights, either on grass or grain.
