12 Angus cross yearling steers, 11 to 15 months of age. Steers are of good frame and have plenty of room to fill out and perform weight gains. Steers were born and weaned at vendors Dorrigo property, and taken to coastal property on improved pastures after weaning. A percentage of steers Oct/Nov drop 2020 and the remaining are Feb/Mar drop 2021. Steers were drenched with Mectec pour on at time of assessment (26/1/22) and will be in a withholding period at time of sale. Steers handled yards and race well, and were slightly agitated when in force and crush area but once returning to mob they settled quickly. These steers would suit a backgrounding operation.
