Temperament not assessed in Paddock
These are some of the quietest cattle I have assessed. They virtually had to be pushed out of the way to walk through them. Several steers resented being mouthed but nothing was flighty or fast in the yard. Very quiet cattle.

Assessor Comments
Offering a nice line of Hereford and Poll Hereford steers properly weaned and ready to take on to background feeders or fatten. The majority of these cattle are by the Poll Hereford Rayleigh bull out of Station bred Hereford cows. They are well grown, in store to forward store condition. There are 7 horned steers and 5 polled. The vendor has done a good job with weaning and educating these steers as they are some of the quietest cattle I have assessed. Most of the calves show good length with only the younger ones in the mob still developing their frame. I noticed 2 steers showing slight pink eye affects of some cloudiness in one eye, not affecting sight or performance. Most have good pigmentation around the eyes. Some smaller steers were removed at assessment to keep the line even. They weighed 338 kg average after 2 hrs in yards with a low of 275 kg and a high of 433 kg.
