Temperament not assessed in Paddock
The heifers were relaxed when walking through them. They handled very easily when yarding them from the coolers and penning them to be drafted. It was noted that a few became agitated but not aggressive in the pound and did not settle in the race or on the scales they did however settle down when returned to the mob.

Assessor Comments
A good line of lightweight Xbred softer type heifers with all the hard work done. These are the late heifer calves out of a large breeder herd. These are born, reared and weaned on lighter forest country and will excel on good feed. They have had extensive handling when weaned in July and have been grazing forest country since. Sired by a mixture of bulls being Charmaster/Charbray, Droughtmaster and Brangus bulls and out of a breeder cow herd that is predominantly brahman and Droughtmaster cross. These heifers will grow out to be good feeders or go into a breeder program with over half being polled. They were treated on 7.11.21 with I Max CD pour on. It was noted that 2 heifers showed fly bite on their neck and 1 heifer has a slightly dished shape to her forehead. Located in a tick area.
