Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Steers generally handled well around the yards, however there being 1 or 2 that stirred up when pressure was applied, nothing aggressive but would recommend that experienced stock persons handled these steers.

Assessor Comments
13 steers predominately Hereford Hereford Limousin cross usually retained and sold out as heavy export bullocks off grass. Steers are now at the point in their lives they need either crop or bin, they will not disappoint given the opportunity. Please note that at least 3 steers observed at assessment appeared to be marked late, not considered detrimental as they should grow out of it. There were also 4 steers of the 5 with horns were tipped 7 days prior to assessment, I did notice the occasional steer had a slight drip of blood if they bumped the scar. The 5 steer was dehorned early in life. Mouthed all steers and all are sound milk tooth.
