Age Breakup: Most steers branded #1's. There was the odd #0 steer however very few of these. Most steers mouthed as Milk teeth. Of the heavier #0 steers mouthed a small percentage had only just broken their 1st tooth.

These steers are typical of pastoral bred cattle. They are a pleasure to handle in the paddock and lead out very nicely. When photographing in a small cooler they stood there very nicely and were very content. When pressured in the yards they can begin to stir however when released to mob they soon returned to calm state. There were 2 steers that bailed up in the pound however all others flowed through pound and race very well. They are forward moving yet sensible.

Buyers on offer are a fantastic line of framey Brahman and Brahman cross steers. These steers show excellent shape and style and will grow out to be a fantastic line of feeders. These steers have been running on dry pastures and given the opportunity on good feed they will power ahead. These steers would be ideal to stack away and put on Oats to be grown out to heavy feeder steers. Huge compensatory again is expected with the steers showing good frame and growth. Please note 4 steers where seen to have very small inoculation lumps on their necks from where they were vaccinated. This is of no detriment to them at all. One steer also had very small pimple on head. Buyers these are a great run of steers that will go on to make outstanding feeders.
