These steers were a pleasure to handle in the yards and show indications of being well weaned. Only 2 steers were unsettled when on scales, the balance stood quietly to be weighed.

Presenting a small line of excellent quality Angus steers ideal for restockers who may want to target Angus markets. These steers should pass scrutiny for any Angus orders or feedlot criterion as they are well bred and good conformation. They are by a high indexing bull in Kidman Chariot Q79 out of Millah Murrah blood cows. The cattle have had a tough enough winter with the exceptional rainfall the district has experienced but are now just starting to move forward with the warmer days and better drying weather. I observed one with an old pink eye blemish in one eye (see pics). They are on very good feed with the clover component flowering and setting seed providing weight gain feed. Purchasers may need to be flexible with deliveries given the wet conditions and current wet pattern. Quality weaners to put away and take advantage of the excellent season.
