Assessor Comments
Buyers a great opportunity to secure the younger line of the Douglas Grazing EU weaned #2 Steers. All the hard work is done , weaned and educated and now powering ahead on good feed . Steers are out of VGQ Medium to Large framed Simbrah Cows sired by high priced Sandon Glenoch, Gidyea Angus ,Brangus and Ultrablack and Gowrie blood Simbrah bulls. These strs show good bone length and thickness with exceptional weight for age. Ideally suited to go on oats for the EU Feeder market or alternatively take through to lucrative EU Pasture fed slaughter market as they are all HGP, Antibiotic free and no grain. Please note 2 strs observed to be late cut and a few with slight fly rub marks, neither considered detrimental. Vendor has 3 decks older brothers this sale.
