Cattle flowed through the yards and up the race with ease at assessment, Steers were all handled through draft prior to weighing. When drafting through pound steers generally needed to be steadied up through gate way but were not stirry or aggressive at any point.

Buyers here is an opportunity to buy 144 (4 Decks) of very good Droughtmaster and Droughtmaster x Steers that are PCAS eligible. Steers present in good strong store condition with plenty of frame and will see plenty of compensatory gain with the big curfew prior to assessment. The 'Politic' steers grow into very good heavy feeders or Ox with majority of the draft showing good bone, length & frame ready to bounce away on fresh feed. At assessment a number of steers had some rub marks around their eyes from the flys but not seen as any issue. Also in the horn status only 1 x head presented with horns around 3 inchs the balance were all small bud horns on head.
