These are a good line of Droughtmaster and Droughtmaster cross steers purchased in the autumn as young calves,
The steers have plenty of shape and good bone , that would suggest to me there would be no problem taking these cattle
through to heavy feeder weights or onto bullocks. The vendor has been purchasing this type of light calves and running them
on small blocks around Walcha, putting a couple of hundred kilos on them and turning them off. These cattle have and are doing very well.
