They were unweaned at assessment, however they were generally good to handle in and through the crush. Three head were agitated in and exiting the crush and two were highly agitated in the crush. They will be handled in the yards and through the race over the weaning period.

A mostly very good quality line of Angus and Angus cross weaned steers. With medium to mostly large frame they suit to take onto feed for the domestic slaughter market. Alternatively they suit to take through on crop to heavy export feeder markets. The steers would suit an Angus and Angus x program with just one steer showing a little pizzle. They were drafted with a LWR of 274 - 438 kg after a solid 18 hr dry curfew. No active pink eye was noted at assessment, but they will be reassessed prior to loading and no cattle with active PE will be loaded. Two steers noted with slight blue eye spot in one eye. They are a good quality line of steers that will move ahead post weaning on good feed. Located right at Goondiwindi (opposite the airport) to assist trucking.
