These cattle are very quiet to handle. Cows and weaners were drafted on the ground without any problems. Weaners showed no impatience in the crush, and remained relaxed while being handled away from their mothers.

A very good quality line of Yarrawonga / Waco, and Yugilbar blood Santa steers. These long, deep bodied steers have been doing very well on their mothers, and are exhibiting plenty of bone, and the capacity to grow. They were purchased as cows and calves from Bendigo Grazing, out of the Cloncurry district, QLD. Bendigo Grazing have spent the last 40 years investing in top quality sires, purchasing the 2nd top priced bull at the 2021Yugilbar sale, that investment is evident in these steers. The weaners were drafted off their mothers on the ground, with all cattle remaining relaxed through the assessment process, easily blocked through gateways, standing quietly in the crush, etc. These steers were weaned at assessment, and will be fed lucerne hay until delivery. Buyers please note, this lot contains 4 unmarked bull calves, one of which is recovering from ring worm. He has been vet checked, and deemed not detrimental.
