These weaners have only been weaned for the past week and are still fairly flighty. There are ring leaders that tend to move rapidly in the bigger yards and they need to be steadied down through a gateway, not unusual. Nothing in the mob that could be considered aggressive. Would encourage buyers to allow steers sufficient time to settle down on arrival prior to being shown the 'bush gate'. Would benefit from further weaning protocols and maybe tailed out.

Buyers, 4½ decks of Consuelo EU ACCREDITED and PCAS ELIGIBLE Santa backgrounder heifers. These have developed a great reputation and been offered on A+ for the past 10 years and always seem to attract plenty of repeat buyers who have commented on the great performance these steers deliver them. They have presented in store condition, and I would suggest these will really hit their straps on improved pastures or crop so would expect plenty of compensatory gains. They are genetically very sound cattle and would be ideal to put away for the long term and grow out to heavier domestic feedlot entry weights or grow out for future breeders. Clean country buyers note they are offered GUARANTEED CLEAR of the dip and should clear the dip on Saturday.
