Assessor Comments
20 vendor bred angus steers October/November 21 drop. Good bone development can be seen with plenty of thickness and frame noticeable. Big winter coat with noticeable rubbing from lice on back of neck. Noogoora and Bathurst burr on head, lower body and tail. no vaccines, drench or backlines ever administered. Steers were entire at weaning in late May and were branded and elastrator rings applied with most purses fallen off. Steers are flighty when in a tight spot at close quarters, when in bigger yard and no pressure normal behavior noticed. Steers are the lead of 47 head mob. No bloom or weaner sapp on these cattle. Steers are in strong, store condition with a lean body and will grow out to quality black angus steers. Note these cattle still show bully in head and show male features which are characteristic of recently castrated.
