HEIFERS WERE YARDED ON FOOT FROM THE HOLDING YARD. THE MOVED AROUND THE YARD WITH A BIT OF PUSH AND SHOVE. MORE NERVOUS THROUGH LIMITED HANDLING. APPROX 3 HEAD JOSTLED AROUND ON THE WEIGH PLATFORM EXCESSIVELY, BUT SETTLED ONCE BACK IN THE MOB. THEY TEND TO TROTT ALONG IN THE PADDOCK.

A SMALL BUT USEFUL LINE OF FEEDER TYPE HEIFERS. ALL CARRY A BIT OF CROSS BREEDING, FAVOURED BY MANY FOR LOTFEEDING. THEY WERE PURCHASED AS WEANERS AND HAVE HAD A VERY GOOD RUN THROUGHOUT SUMMER. A COUPLE OF BIGGER FRAMED HEIFERS AS 2 SCORES PUSHING 3 SCORE. 3 HAVE RECENTLY BEEN DEHORNED AND STILL NOT FULLY HEALED. 2 HEIFERS WITH A RED TINGE TO THEIR TOPLINE. ALL THE BLACK HEIFERS ARE 1 MARK. NOTE THE VENDORS OPTION FOR DELIVERY FROM DUBBO SALEYARDS, TO LINK UP WITH ANY TRUCKS MOVING AROUND AFTER LOCAL SALES.
