Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Only a few heifers that could be considered slightly stirry on the scales in the crush only with the balance very well behaved. Once let out they settled very quickly when they reached the mob. There appears to be a handful of ring leaders that seem to move reasonably quickly in the bigger yards and don’t settle if you get in their flight zone.

Assessor Comments
A small line of EU ACCREDITED heifers that present in mainly store to forward store condition. Would suit restockers to grow out and take to domestic feedlot entry weights or grow/fatten for grassfed MSA domestic kill orders. At assessment noted one heifer with old blue eye scarring in both eyes that does not look to be active blight, however treated with Orbenin at assessment just in case. Heifers were weaned in April and have had to endure a very wet year not conducive to performance for weight gain. Obviously the lead of the straight Angus heifers have been retained and they are a very classy line of replacement breeders. Noted two heifers with what looks to be rub around the eyes from either Buffalo Fly or mosquitoes. Also two with old ring worm scars on the head (no issues expected with any of this). Heifers are just starting to clean up in the coat, they carry no excess condition and I would expect some very good compensatory weight gains especially on some dryer country.
