Temperament not assessed in Paddock
The heifers were generally good and settled in the yards prior to and after assessing. Two heifers ended up isolated from other cattle and fizzed up until they were back in the mob. In the crush the unsettled heifers just tended to keep trying to push through the front of the crush and would not settle or stand still. They would then exit the crush quickly. The others would stand quietly and exit the crush in an orderly fashion.

Assessor Comments
A mostly good to very good quality line of EU accredited Angus and Angus cross heifers showing good growth for age. They are medium to large frame and suit to background to heavy domestic feeder weights. These heifers are surplus to requirements with their brothers listed in this sale as well. Approx half the heifers are out of own bred Angus cows by Booroomooka bulls M475(AI) or Booroomooka M410(AI), the other half are out of purchased Angus and Angus cross cows from Emmaville which are principally Clunie Range or Mundoo Angus blood. One heifer noted with a moderate blue eye spot in one eye and four heifers with healing hair loss spots on their face and neck. Note they are grass market eligible in that they have not been fed grain. They have not been fed cotton seed nor have they been treated with antibiotics.
