Assessor Comments
Buyers a small line of good quality lightweight steers that show plenty of growth and quality and have the capacity to develop adequate muscling and frame to suit all export feedlots at a later stage. Suit to put onto improved pastures or crop to add extra kilos for feedlot entry. They don’t seem to have had any setbacks at any stage and appear to be healthy (no weeping eyes or nasal discharge). Bred in light breeder type country so I would expect these to really perform on developed heavier scrub soil type country. There are a further seven Hereford steers that are being offered separately that can be purchased as well. These are only about 15kms south of the Gore Roadhouse on the Cunningham Highway (Goondiwindi/Warwick road) so not far for a truck to go out of his way if they are on a backload.
