Assessor Comments
A very good quality line of E.U Accredited Hereford Weaner Heifers. Heifers are generally very quiet and show all the characteristics of many years of diligent breeding. They come from one of the best Hereford herds in this area. Heifers are the younger second draft of the drop with the Vendors naturally keeping the tops as replacements. They range from 232 to 346 kg seven hours off feed at assessment. They average 293 kg and have a projected delivery weight of 287 kg. Majority would make replacement breeders or lot is suitable for Domestic grass [PCAS Eligible & Antibiotic free] or grain fattening programs. One Heifer has a little black shading around eyes and nose. The Heifers will remain on the Cows on good feed until delivery and the Cows are starting to wean Calves naturally and are drying off. They were dehorned at Calf marking and their eyes are excellent. Please note the Vendors have two lines of Steers in this sale also.

Vendor Comments
Our annual draft of surplus Heifer Weaners. They are very quiet and well handled. We have been breeding Hereford Cattle since 1955 and have been lucky enough to win champion ribbons at Glen Innes and Inverell Weaner sales over the years.
