Two heifers were would not stand still in the crush and exited quickly. However given they have just come off the cows and had limited handling they were generally good to handle. They were very good in the bigger yard and remained quiet when being photographed.

A line of mostly good quality, vendor bred heifers. Weaners were taken off cows the night before assessment, they will be fed oaten hay and worked through the yards up until delivery. 80% Medium framed with 10% large framed and the remainder small. Heifers are from Angus & Angus Cross cows and are sired by Booroomooka, Te Mania, Booragul & Hazeldean Angus bulls. Note one heifer with slight blue eye scaring in one eye and another heifer with active pink eye, treated at assessment. Heifers with active pinkeye on day of delivery will not be loaded. These heifers would suit to take to domestic feeder weights or on to finish for a range of high quality slaughter markets. Vendor has retained approx 50 of the older heifers from this drop, this line is the lighter end of the surplus heifers. Located 38km SW of Bingara & 74km from Narrabri. Please note the heavier end of these heifers are also for sale as well as the brothers of these heifers.
