Cattle were good to handle in the yards and crush. Two steers became slightly stirry when in the crush and exited quickly. They settled quickly back in the yard.

A good to very good quality line of medium to large frame yearling steers. The steers range from Angus through to a soft Angus x British bred cross with just a few steers showing a small amount of Bos Indicus content. They have been grazing a mix of harvested crop stubble, good improved pasture paddocks and have had access to grain in self feeders. They are moving ahead nicely after the November rain and will go onto feed very quickly. They are suitable for the heavy end of the domestic or the export grainfed markets with a assessment LWR of 340 - 445 kg. Two steers noted with slight blue eye scarring in one eye. They are located approx 25km south of Boggabilla and are easy to access for carriers moving north and south. Note the deck of PTE domestic weight heifers to make 2 decks and the liveweight sale option available during the auction.
