Assessor Comments
A line of 55% medium framed and 45% large framed Angus Cross yearling steers. These vendor bred steers have been yard weaned on oaten hay and were moved onto finished oats in August with access to Urea based water medications until November. They have since been grazing natural pasture. Sired by Booroomooka blood bulls over Angus, Angus cross, Charolois x, Hereford/Santa x cows. The Angus brothers of these steers are also for sale in this auction. Please note that one steer in the photos & video was removed after assessment and one steer has a small amount of warts on the face. Steers have had one dose of 7 in 1 and have been treated with Easy Dose. The steers would suit as feeder steers, with the lighter two thirds suitting the domestic market & the heavier third ideal for high quality grainfed market. They also have not had access to grain and are PCAS eligible. Located approximately 130km West of Goondiwindi off the Barwon Hwy.
