Heifers were a pleasure to handle right throughout the weighing, drafting & photo/video process. The Obst family pride themselves on offering quiet cattle as they spend lots of time & effort in assuring a quiet herd. Every day of weaning they would use dogs & walk through cattle in yards to educate quiet temperament as if anything looks agitated will be sold in saleyards.

Assessor Comments
Top Quality line of QUIET, VENDOR BRED, ONE MARK , NSM, JUNE/JULY drop 24, PURE BRED Angus weaner heifers presenting in fresh forward store condition which are specifically selected for Gydgenboyne breeding program & usually retained. The Gydgeboyne Angus program in the last 10 years has mainly focused on high growth rate which has been heavily sought after by numerous breeding programs & feedlotters as the Obst family spare no expenses with selecting premium Angus genetics (TE MANIA EMPORER, RENNYLEA, EMULATION NEXT & MILLAH MURRAH KLOONEY.). With spring around the corner these dual purpose heifers can create numerous opportunities. These heifers are at an IDEAL weight to join to a bull of the nominated purchasers choice. Note: Small % heifers display minor rub marks which is common for this time of year & deemed non detrimental aswell as being drenched last week for lice. RARE OPPORTUNITY NOT TO BE MISSED as young females are the future of the industry. DUAL PURPOSE HEIFERS.
