Steers handled very well through the yards. There were 7 that were slightly agitated in the crush though they settled well after weighing and upon returning to the mob.

A good to mostly very good quality line of Hereford steers, well-grown for age and showing good bone and conformation. They averaged 329kg (min 254kg and max 405kg) at assessment with an estimated delivery weight of 316kg. Medium to large frame steers, they suit to background to export feeder weights or finish for quality slaughter markets. They are Coles Graze accredited and are PCAS eligible. Note another line of 67 Black Baldy steers and 79 Black Angus steers are in this sale also.

We are very proud of Donor Jean P303 – the mother ship. Jean B21’s progeny directly shows the power and consistency of our cow lines here with 9 lots represented. P303 has been a very successful donor for us and is a prolific egg producer, averaging over nine eggs per flush conventional. Her eleven sons that have gone through the sale have consistently featured in our top pens. P303 is the most impressive cow in the flesh showing phenomenal capacity, consistent with Premier Guardian and the renowned Premier Jestress H66 cow in her paternal pedigree.
