The steers were very good to handle in the yards (see video). In the crush five head were slightly agitated in and exiting the crush . In the paddock they are educated to electric fences including single wire electric fences and bikes.

A good to very good quality line of medium to large frame steers. They range from Angus x Angus through to Angus/Angus/Santa and Angus/Santa cross steers. They were yard weaned in two mobs with 17 steers yard weaned in mid April and 13 steers yard weaned on 28/05/22. They are all now running together in a paddock with very good feed. They are ideal to background to domestic feeder and then onto export feeder weights. They are grain and antibiotic free and would suit to finish for a range of high quality slaughter markets. Two steers with slight blue eye scarring in one eye. Active pink eye was seen in a steer removed from the sale line and the others will be checked prior to delivery. They are located just south of the Gore Hwy / Wyaga Rd intersection (approx 70km west of Millmerran) and as such are handy to access the main north-south trucking routes.
