A TIDY LINE OF SHORTHORN AND SHORTHORN X BACKGROUNDER STEERS. THESE STEERS HAVE HAD A WET COLD WINTER AND ARE BEGINNING TO PERFORM WITH THE CHANGE OF SEASON. THE STEERS WILL CONTINUE TO IMPROVE RAPIDLY ON GOOD NUTRITION THUS PRESENTING PURCHASERS WITH A VERY GOOD OPPORTUNITY OF COMPENSATORY GAINS TO FILL OUT THE FRAMES THAT HAVE GROWN. THEY PRESENT IN HEALTHY STORE CONDITION. THESE STEERS WOULD IDEALLY SUIT BACKGROUNDING FOR EXPORT FEEDLOT MARKETS WITH THE MAJORITY ELIGIBLE FOR BREED SPECIFIC SHORTHORN PROGRAMS. THEY ARE yAMBURGAN AND GROVE BLOOD AND ALSO COMPRISE 6 ANGUS/SHORTHORN STEERS. SOME STEERS WERE A LITTLE AGITATED WHEN CONFINED BUT SETTLED IN THE MOB. 1 STEER HAD AN OLD PINKEYE SCAR, NOT DEEMED DETRIMENTAL.
