The heifers were excellent to handle in and through and yards. They have been educated with LSS practices and move calmly in, through and out of the yards. Four heifers became mildly agitated and one moderately agitated in the crush while being preg tested. They all settled very quickly once out of the crush. The cattle are accustomed to bikes, horses and dogs. They have also been educated to single wire electric fences.

A good to mostly very good quality line of vendor bred Angus x Angus heifers. These heifers are NSM (never been joined) and have been vet preg tested empty at assessment for any potential buyers. They are surplus to vendors breeding requirements and have been selected out as a line of quality potential future breeders. The main Angus bloodlines are from Dulveton, Mooroobie and Nairn Park Angus with Bridgewater Angus genetics in some of the cows. They display good weight for age and with medium to large frames they had a LWR of 314 - 410 kg full weight at assessment. They were a pleasure to work in and through the yards and have been handled extensively using LSS techniques. They are educated to bikes, dogs, horses and single wire electric fences. They also suit to pasture finish for a range of high quality slaughter markets or to take directly onto feed for the domestic supermarket trade - please note live weight purchase option.
