Calves walked in calmly from paddock with mothers and blocked up and walked with ease with bike. When in yard and taken of mothers for first time since marking some stirred up and rushed back and forth a bit. Some heated up once in race and weighed through crush. Most settled after returning to mob. After assessment weaners were let in to holding paddock around yards and were blocked up on foot and settled down nicely for photo. With a weaning and handling these calves will settle.

Assessor Comments
An exceptional drop of Alpine Charolais sired calves performing above and beyond for their age. These weaners are ready to be pushed on further to heavy weights. They are out of fertile Brahman/ Brahman composite cows who are excellent mothers. The sires of these calves are selected from the top end of the Alpine Charolais stud renowned for eye appealing, easy doing, soft cattle along with high growth for age. These calves have been given every opportunity to perform for their next owner given their quality genetic base and good start to life. *NOTE* Any horned cattle were dehorned directly following assessment. This was done after photos were taken. *Note* There are 4 lots offered by this vendor and another 2 lots of another all similar type and weight, all sired by Alpine Charolais bulls and all in the Warren district. This presents an opportunity to put together a great run of calves and suit trucking requirements.
