Cattle were generally very good to handle in the yards and through the race and crush. One steer was slightly agitated in and exiting the crush. They all continue to be worked in and through the yards from assessing until delivery.

A good to very good quality line of mostly British breed weaner steers. They are medium to large frames and suit to background to heavy domestic and then export feeder weights. These steers are from a mob of cows and calves purchased in Jan 2022 privately from the breeder. They are by Sandon Glenoc Angus, The Grove Shorthorn or Talbalba Hfd bulls over British x cows. They have been yard weaned since the 03/04/22 and will continue to be worked and and through the yards until delivery. One steer has a moderate blue eye spot in one eye - it is healing from pink eye and was treated at assessment. There was active pink eye in the mob at assessment with several head treated and withdrawn from sale. All weaners will be rechecked for active pink eye prior to delivery. They had a LWR of 194 - 302 kg and are nice and healthy and will continue to move ahead on good feed.
