Heifers became agitated throughout the assessment when pressure was applied in the force and draft yards, settled when released into a larger yard. worked well throughout the yards, would rush at gateways but would block when required.

A line of Genuine Vender bred Weaner Heifers, Sired by Texas Angus Bulls out of an Angus Cow Herd. At assessment the Heifers weighed from 189-334kg to average 246kg and present in a store to forward store condition. The Heifers were bred on the Rocky River, which is lighter country to the East of Tenterfield and will respond rapidly to increased nutrition and protein. They would normally have been sold in June/July although the wet conditions prevented access, therefor weaners are showing signs of self weaning and lice. The weaners will be yard weaned until delivery, during this period they will have access to Lucerne hay and the Vendor will work the cattle throughout the yards daily. To Assist with delivery the Vendor will deliver to the Tenterfield Sale yards on Monday the 26th of September.
