Steers worked very well through the yards and were a pleasure to handle. A very small percentage of the steers became unsettled in crush but settled once back in the mob. Typical behaviour for weaners.

Buyers, on offer are 33 VGQ Angus infused steers that would make ideal backgrounder. These steers show tremendous weight for age, showing plenty of bone and shape. Steers were weaned at assessment 08/05/23 on good quality hay and will stay in yards until delivered for an easy transition. Cattle are very soft easy doing types and will suit all domestic markets. Steers could also be taken through to trade weight feeders or kill weights with potential MSA gradings. Calves are sired by Clunie Range bull out of predominantly Santa, Charolais, Ultra Black cross cows.
