These steers had been drafted off for 24-48 hours before assessment and fed lucerne hay over this time, they moved through gateways briskly, but calmly through pound, race & over the scales. They will be handled daily and calm down to very well handled young steers.

Great line of EU accredited yard weaned steers, these cattle have a very good reputation locally for their softness, bone, performance on grass & crop. These cattle will not disappoint, they are always by good well bred bulls from a herd of proven performers. The Vendors are willing to sign a PCAS statement as they have previously done for bullock fatteners etc. Being yard weaned on Lucerne hay and handled daily through the yards. This consignment of EU steers have very good growth and show a power of frame!
I highly recommend this line of EU Backgrounder steers.
