Steers were agitated in the yards, worked by experienced stockman, would rush at gateways but would block when needed too, no malice was shown. They were also worked in a very small confined set of yards which didn't allow them to have pressure removed throughout the assessment.

A line of predominantly Charbray Steers, weighing from 284-432kg to average 360kg with projected delivery average of 350kg. 25 Steers were mouthed at assessment, 2 had broken their 2 teeth (429&407kg) the balance were sound milk teeth. Steers have been through a very wet winter and present in a store condition, they are just starting to clean up and move forward as the weather warms. To assist with delivery the Steers will be delivered to the Tenterfield Saleyards
