HEIFERS WORKED WELL THROUGH THE YARDS WHEN DRAFTING AND AT ASSESSMENT, CONSIDERRING THEY HAD BEEN IN YARDS FOR A FEW DAYS SINCE MUSTERING AND BEING TRANSPORTED TO HOME PROPERTY FOR ASSESSMENT. THERE WAS A SMALL PERCENTAGE OF HEIFERS THAT BECAME AGITATED WHEN SINGLED OFF THE MOB IN THE POUND DRAFT SITUATION BUT THEN SETTLED ONCE BACK IN THE MOB. HAVING ONE OR TWO HEIFERS STILL SHOWING SIGNS OF BEING UNSETTLED AFTER ASSESSMENT AND BACK IN THE MOB. CATTLE HANDLED WELL UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCE

35 MOSTLY GREY BRAHMANS & BRAHMAN CORSS COASTAL BRED HEIFERS WITH A WEIGHT RANGE 188KG-320KG TO AVERAGE 243KG. THESE HEIFERS WOULD TYPICALY BE RETAINED IN HERD AND USED AS REPLACEMENT HEIFERS. HAVING REDUCED ON AGISTMENT COUNTRY THESE HEIFERS ARE NOW SURPLUS TO REQUIERMENTS. HEIFERS WILL BE IDEALLY SUITED TO ANY BACKGROUNDING OPERATION, AS THEY PRESENT IN MOSTLY STORE CONDITION, THEY STAND ON GOOD BONE AND HAVE PLENTY OF FRAME TO GROW OUT TO FUTURE BREEDERS. ALSO FIND THEIR RED SISTERS WHICH ARE IN THIS WEEKS SALE GIVING YOU A GREAT OPERTUNITY TO PURCHASE 2 DECKS OF VENDOR BRED GREY AND RED HEIFERS. PLEASE NOTE: HEIFERS ENTERED AS SMALLER FRAME ARE THE WEANER HEIFERS IN THE MOB. THERE ARE 3 HEIFERS THAT PRESENTED WITH SOME SKIN IRRITATION ON NECK/SHOULDERS AND NAVAL. ONE HEIFER HAS NO BRUSH ON TAIL AND SOME SMALL SCARING. 14% OF HEIFERS HAD GOTTEN SMALL MARKS ON NEAR SIDE BELOW HIP DURING ASSESSMENT FROM IN SIDE THE RACE WHICH JUST GRAZED THE HIDE OFF.
