Steers worked very well through yards and crush. Considering being unweaned cattle worked very well. With some more handling through yards should quieten down considerably. Cows were very good to draft and breeders place heavy emphasis on temperament.

A very good line of Droughtmaster weaner steers. Steers are 1 brand and are weaners off Droughtmaster cows ex Eddington Droughtmasters, Julia Creek. Were purchased as cow and calf units. Steers show very good bone and shape. Note: Approx 10 head were marked 3 weeks ago as they were entires when purchased as part of the breeders bull breeding operation. Some of these steers still have slight swelling in the purse and have larger pizzles. These steers are well bred (photos of cows attached). Although being unweaned, majority have weaned themselves and are not carrying any excess condition. Well bred out of large frame cows by quality Droughtmaster bulls. Ideal steers to take through to heavier weights to suit trade/export feedlots or heavy kill cattle. Heifer portion also available this sale.
