Assessor Comments
A light deck of well handled, light weight, cross bred heifers that have been properly yard weaned through a very wet period that gave them a small set back. Vendor has put them on good quality lucerne hay and grower pellets in the paddock for the last two weeks which has picked them up and got them starting to freshen up again. No heifers were retained and the lead of these would be suited to grow out and join. Most of these heifers are soft enough to be suited to background through to domestic feedlot weights and all would suit backgrounding through to export feedlot weights, or fatten to kill. Two heifers are slightly brindle in colour, 1 heifer has rub marks around the eye and 1 heifer has a blue spot on her eye from blight. She was treated at weaning with a patch which was removed at assessment. Please see photo. Vendor also has 52 steers in the same sale.
