These steers handled well as we drafted them off their mothers, 2 stirred up in race but overall handled well & by being handled throughout yards until delivery will ensure they are ready for the next chapter. Bred out of a very quiet easy to handle line of breeders.

Buyers of Premium quality steers here's a deck load of top quality, yard weaned store conditioned steers that will power ahead on heavier country. The excessive wet conditions have left these steers with less 'Bloom' than in previous years, however all the quality is there to see these steers successfully marketed into premium long-fed markets in the summer. There was 3 steers with old scarring in one eye, and 1 steer with scarring in both. One Angus Hereford cross steer horned, balance all natural poll's amongst the cross breds (11 in total ).
This vendor also has a deck of heifers in same sale. I recommend this line of Backgrounder steers.

These steers are from Vendor bred & Bought in breeders. The cows are good predominately large framed cows. Sired by Talooby Bulls.
Grazing Conditions
Until day of assessment been grazing Improved and native pastures whilst still on their mothers. Wet weather has been tolling on both cows & weaners.
Returned to: Yard weaned & being fed green cereal hay and some Lucerne hay.

Another top draft of steers, a bit disappointed they don't have the bloom as previous years but thankful for all the rain that has been, these steers will power ahead on harder feed of either pasture, crop or Grain.
