Calves were good to handle at assessment. Drafted off the cows and assessed. Calves were very quiet when separated from cows.

Annual draft of Evista calves. Cattle have been handled mainly with horses but also with bikes. The calves handled well in the yards. These cattle have performed well over the years, often purchased by repeat buyers.
Cattle will grow out to heavier weights for a feeder or heavy slaughter market and have also been killed for domestic trade and MSA kills.
Due to the selection of bulls to suit cows and single Sire mob joinings the cattle are in a number of smaller mobs so I was unable to get photos/video of all the calves in this group in one mob at assessment.
Opportunity to purchase EU cattle from a herd that gives a lot of consideration to bull selection and then matching bulls to females to achieve their breeding plan.
2 steers have very slight old pink eye scaring in one eye.
Cattle were weaned on Tuesday the 13/4/21 a week after assessing as the cows were in for preg testing.
