Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Steers are very easy to handle in all areas of the yards. They have settled very well since weaning. They do need to be steadied through gateways. They were also pretty calm in the crush and most exited in a calm manner, odd one trotted back into the mob. Would encourage buyer to allow some time for these to settle on arrival before showing them the gate.

Assessor Comments
Buyers here are some mainly fair quality EU ACCREDITED weaner steers that are running in light forest type country. It has been very dry for an extended period of time and has only in the past few weeks started to respond to the early summer storm seasonal conditions. As a result I would expect these steers to really do like steam if they hit some heavier developed scrub soil country on fresh Buffel or crop. A feature was their temperament, they are very good to handle in all areas of the yards. I did note 1 steer with a wart on the side of his head about the size of a 50 cent coin, no dramas expected here. These would suit to put away for the long term and grow out to either domestic or export feeder entry specs. Please note the heifer portion is also catalogued in this sale and all up would fill up a B-Double. Buyers in tick free areas can take comfort these are guaranteed clear of the dip at Moura.
