Heifers were mostly good to handle in the crush and yards. Two heifers were mildly agitated while standing in the crush. All remained quiet when being photographed and moved through the yards well.

A mostly good to very good quality line of vendor bred Angus and Angus x heifers. All heifers were preg tested empty by a registered vet 24/01/24 and were all needled with Ovuprost. Heifers were yard weaned in several mobs from March to May 2023 and worked through the yards throughout the weaning process. Please note 4 heifers which may be visible in the photos were removed after assessment, due to being out of the weight range, pregnancies & a lump. Two heifers have a small amount of warts on the face & neck. Heifers were grazing oats paddock from May until Nov when they were moved onto Barley stubble, now grazing green pasture. They are all sired by Hazeldean Angus bulls with the full sire list provided. All heifers received first dose of 5 in 1 at branding from Oct - Dec 2022 & received the 2nd dose and Ivomec from March - June 2023. Hfrs would suit as feeder heifers to take to high quality grainfed markets or the top 55% very good quality heifers could suit as future breeders.
