Lighter and smaller animals not laying down fat cover, are on very good feed and presented in strong score 1 condition. All heifers moved through the yards with good strength and energy. Fit to load Standards will be followed on delivery.

Typical Northern station bred cattle that flowed extremely well through the yards with minimal pressure needed, heifers have had plenty of experience up a race, including weaning, trucking, weighing and assessing. If they rush through the yards they can be blocked up very quickly. 10% did become agitated with in the crush but once back with the mob they calm almost instantly.

50 Brahman X No.1 Heifers, that have been drafted into a line of flatback feeder typed females. These heifers present very well and are ready to enter any breeding operation or taken onto forage crops to enter feeder markets. Heifers were a pleasure to handle as education and stockmanship is key at Rainmore. The cow herd is of a CVB Brahman base but several breeds of bulls have been used over the years giving plenty of hybrid vigour. Please note vendor has two other lines of heifers in this sale and two lines of joined heifers in the Eastern States Sale. Werrington Cattle Co has two other properties in Northern Qld while 96% of these heifers have been bred on "Rainmore" Alpha and are currently in clean country.
