A light 2 decks of principally Droughtmaster feeder steers showing good growth and condition for their age. These steers were purchased in Queensland last June and July as very light cattle. They have been running on native pasture and some tropical grasses and are ready to power ahead on improved nutrition, either an oats crop or grain ration. They are 14 to 15 months of age with a % branded with a "0" age brand. They weighed 363 kgs average at assessment and were weighed into a 100kg range. Most are Red Droughtmasters with a few showing some Charolais influence. They were easy to handle in the yards with a few becoming a bit stirry in the crush.
