Assessor Comments
A good to very good quality line of Shorthorn and Shorthorn cross heifers with two heifers being fair quality. This vendor bred line of heifers are mostly medium to large framed heifers which had a LWR of 315kg- 512kg full weight at assessment. They would suit to take an finish for a range of grassfed markets, put directly onto feed or alternatively the top 32% could potentially make good quality future breeders. All heifers have been pregnancy tested by a vet, with all NDP. A certificate is available. If a successful buyer purchases this lot for breeding purposes, the five non 100% Shorthorn heifers can be retained by the vendor on request post sale. Please note four heifers have slight blue eye in one eye and one with moderate blue eye in one eye. Heifers will be checked before delivery and any cattle with active pink eye will not be loaded. Most heifers were NSM and all were Vet preg tested NDP. These are quality heifers would suit a range of feeder, finisher and breeding markets.
