Cattle were good to handle throughout the yards and crush. Nine head became slightly agitated in the crush and would not settle while being assessed or while being mouthed. All settled when back in the yards together and remained quiet when being photographed. Cattle are worked using Low Stress Stock Handling techniques.

A line of mostly good to very good quality medium to large frame heifers. These heifers are unjoined and were scanned at assessment and all are NDP. They are 100% LT. Approx 75% of the heifers are one line purchased ex Coleraine Station in Jan 2025 and are based on Palgrove and Ascot Charolais and The Grove Shorthorn genetics. All were mouthed at assessment with 52 x milk tooths and 3 x 2 tooths. Two heifers have a slight amount of blue eye in one eye and several heifers had sort rub marks on neck as they have been grazing in a paddock that had a fire in 2024. They have a LWR of 381 - 468 kg full weight and they suit to take directly onto feed for the heavy end of the domestic markets or the light export market. Please note another 2 decks of similar weight Angus and AAx heifers from this vendor at their second property located 35km away. This is a nice line of crossbred heifers which are healthy and in ideal feedlot entry condition.
