Heifers worked quietly through the yards and were a pleasure to handle with only a couple becoming slightly agitated in the crush but settled quickly when returned to the mob

Buyers a rare opportunity to secure a a line of Black heifers that tick all the boxes, EU ,USDA NOP ORGANIC & GAP certified. These heifers were bred at Wetlands and were trucked to Glenba at weaning. They are all bred out of the highly fertile Wetlands herd of medium to large frame Angus Composite Cows sired by Rangelands Stud Angus Composite bulls. Heifers would ideally suit to go back into a breeding operation as they were only given a very short 6 week joining, alternatively could be taken through to lucrative Organic slaughter weights as the Wetlands cattle consistently hit target specs when taken through. If going conventional they are ideally suited to the Woolworths domestic feeder market. Please note the 2 early pregnant heifers are identified and can be left out at purchases request(only 4-12 weeks in calf) also 2 with old blight scarring and several with slight fly rub marks not considered detrimental. Vendor has 1 deck colored sisters this sale.
