Assessor Comments
A mostly good to very good quality line of vendor bred Angus and Angus x steers. These steers were yard weaned in several mobs from April to May and since then have been grazing good quality oats. They are all sired by Hazeldean Angus bulls with the full sire list provided. 40 steers present as Angus x Angus with nineteen head showing some other cross including from a couple of Senegus (Senepol/Angus) bulls used over a decade ago which is still expressing itself in some of the cows. One steer noted with a moderate blue eye spot in one eye while another three head had a mild blue eye spot in one eye. Two steers with small amount of warts around eyes and on neck. These steers are grain, antibiotic and HGP free and would suit taking forward into high quality grass or grain finishing programs. With good bone and conformation they also suit to take onto heavy export feeder weights. LWR 302 - 406 kg at assessment with a liveweight purchase option provided.
