Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Cattle were generally very good to handle in the yards and through the race and crush. 6 steers were slightly agitated in and exiting the crush and another 5 head were moderately agitated. Nothing mad but the just would not fully settle while being assessed in the crush. They were excellent to handle in the yards. They are used to electric fences as they are run in a cell grazing operation.

Assessor Comments
A fair to good and very good quality of one brand yearling steers. These medium to large frame british bred steers were purchased as freshly weaned steers in July 2025. They have done well over winter and are really starting to move now. However the season is only marginal and it has been decided to move these trade steers. They suit to backgroumd to heavy domestic and then export feeder steer markets and would suit a range of HGP free british bred feeder programs. Three steers noted with a moderate or slight blue eye scarring in one eye. Five steers noted with healing ring worm scarring on neck or face - not detrimental. These steers have moved ahead on native and improved pastures over winter and are just starting to hit their straps. They should continue to move ahead on good feed.
