Some steers did react negatively whilst in the crush and weigh box. They were all mouthed and did act up whilst this was happening (not unusual). Any steers that stirred up in crush and race settled once they were back with the mob. These steers were fresh and did move freely through the yards and would require more handling to change behavior.

Buyers a line of EU accredited Angus steers that would suit feedlots feeding for the domestic or export market or backgrounders looking to grow out to heavier weights. These steers are in good condition and have been powering on with the season and feed they have had in front of them. I would expect on the right feed conditions they will continue to perform. Please note. 1 steer had blue eye scarring in both eyes, 10 steers had blue eye scarring in one eye, 2 steers had warts on their heads and 2 steers noticed to have had old vaccination lumps.
