Temperament not assessed in Paddock
These calves were exceptionally quiet to handle. Mothers rushed through the yards but once the calves were drafted separate they were the complete opposite. only very few stirred up in race then settled straight down again when out. With weaning and handling these calves will be a dream to handle for any level operator.

Assessor Comments
An extremely eye appealing, quiet, soft line of steer weaners that will suit all buyers. These steers are ideal to push out to heavier weights for feeder, domestic or export weights. The cows these heifers are on are large, weighty cows that are square and predominately soft coated for their breed. The sires of these calves are selected from the top end of the Alpine Charolais stud renowned for eye appealing, easy doing, soft cattle along with high growth for age. These calves have been given every opportunity to perform for their next owner given their quality genetic base and good start to life. *Note* There are 2 lots offered by this vendor and another 4 lots of another all similar type and weight, all sired by Alpine Charolais bulls and all in the Warren district. This presents an opportunity to put together a great run of calves and suit trucking requirements.
