The heifers were a pleasure to handle through the yards at assessment. The odd heifer stirred up under pressure in the
crush but calmed down once released. The heifers were fresh in the yards but calmed down over the assessment.

Approx. 67 GQ Crossbred heifers. At assessment heifers weighed 133 – 284kg to avg 203kg after being in the yards overnight on feed and water. These heifers are out of medium and large framed AngusX, DroughtmasterX & BrahmanX cows and are sired by GQ Angus & Brahman bulls. 10 head were mouthed and all presented milk teeth are all branded No.2. The breed breakdown in this mob is approximately 30% AngusX, 25% Brahman & 20% BrahmanX. Ideal heifers to background for the domestic feeder market or to keep for future breeders. Please note 1 other lot of steers in this auction.
